7 Days to Die: Tough Zombies Complete Guide
Tough Zombies in 7 Days to Die are a more resilient and formidable category of undead adversaries in the game. These zombies possess increased durability and strength compared to their normal counterparts, making them more challenging for players to defeat.
Engaging with Tough Zombies in your 7 Days to Die Server requires enhanced combat skills, strategic planning, and better equipment to successfully navigate the heightened difficulty they bring to the post-apocalyptic survival experience. Keep in mind that game details may have evolved since my last update, so it's advisable to check the latest game information for any changes or additions.
Bloated Walkers
A Bloated Walker, is a prevalent Zombie type found in various locations. Distinguished by its notably larger size compared to the average zombie, it boasts increased health and inflicts greater damage (x2). Generally slower than the average zombie at the same speed setting, Bloated Walkers can manifest in feral or radiated forms, further enhancing their durability. During night-time, the feral version may spawn as a night-time feral, adding an additional layer of challenge to encounters with these undead adversaries.
Fat Hawaiians
Differing from standard zombies, they exhibit a larger physique, resulting in heightened resistance to damage and an increased capacity for dealing harm. While Fat Hawaiians move at a slower pace compared to average zombies, their nocturnal speed is marginally reduced.
These zombies become more prevalent during horde nights as players progress in the game. The narrative suggests that the individual was likely a tourist exploring Navezgane County before succumbing to infection during the outbreak.
Encountering a Fat Hawaiians poses a significant threat, particularly in the early stages of the game. It is strongly recommended to avoid engaging with this zombie until later stages when better-equipped and adequately prepared for the heightened challenge it presents.
Fallen Soldier
A soldier who succumbed to the zombie horde, now seen wandering among them. His vest is torn in half, and his torso lays exposed, with intestines hanging alongside the ripped garment. Encounters with Fallen Soldiers are common in Army Camps, Army Barracks, and during 7-Day/Blood Moon hordes.
Eliminating Fallen Soldiers proves challenging, especially with headshots, as their helmets make them more resilient. These undead warriors are classified as armored, enduring 50% less damage from standard attacks. Opting for armor-piercing ammo is advisable. Despite having less health than formidable zombies like Bloated Walkers and Hungry Zombies, Fallen Soldiers can be tougher to defeat due to their enhanced armor, adding an extra layer of difficulty to encounters.
Frozen Lumberjacks
The Frozen Lumberjack stands out as one among the diverse array of zombie variations. Presently, it exclusively inhabits the Snowy Forest biome. Easily distinguishable by its towering stature, broad shoulders, thick beard, knitted cap, red flannel shirt, and blue jeans, the Frozen Lumberjack is conspicuous against the snowy backdrop, even visible from considerable distances. Its skin, tinged with a sickly shade of blue, gives the impression of severe frostbite at first glance.
In the presence of players, the Frozen Lumberjack emits high-pitched wails and a constant 'crunching' sound as it moves. These auditory cues accentuate the frozen, undead nature of this lumbering corpse, creating an eerie atmosphere within the snowy terrain.
Hazmat Male
These zombies are typically depicted wearing hazmat suits, which are designed to protect against exposure to harmful substances. The suit covers the entire body, including a hood and a faceplate, concealing the zombie's features.
Encountering Hazmat Male zombies often implies a connection to areas or scenarios involving dangerous materials, such as laboratories, chemical plants, or military installations. These zombies may exhibit distinct behaviours or pose specific challenges based on their protective suits.
Hungry Female
Utility Worker
Zombie Bikers
Having perished and turned long ago, these zombies exhibit clear signs of advanced decomposition, yet persist in their relentless pursuit of human prey.
Adorned with a helmet, the efficacy of headshots against them may be diminished. Their armored status is further accentuated by tough leather clothing, rendering them 20% less vulnerable to most attacks. To overcome this enhanced resilience, the use of armor-piercing ammunition is strongly recommended.
Encounters with the Zombie Biker are not confined to bars but can also occur during Blood Moon Hordes. During the night, their running behavior aligns with that of other zombies. If neither distance nor a large zombie horde poses a significant concern, landing a headshot while the Zombie Biker charges headfirst may prove slightly more attainable.
