Use ARK admin commands on your server: set an admin password in GameUserSettings.ini, join the server and log in as admin with enablecheats followed by your admin password.
How to log in as admin on your ARK server
- Stop the server.
- Go to Configuration Files and edit
GameUserSettings.ini. - Insert the admin password you want for your server (the
ServerAdminPasswordsetting). - Save the file, then start the server up.
- Connect to the server once it has fully started.
- Open the in-game console and run the following command:
enablecheats adminpassword(replace adminpassword with the password you set). - You can now use admin commands within the game.
