This guide will help you on how to make your starboud server private with a password.

  1. Stop server
  2. Go to Configuration Files, edit starbound_server.config with TEXT EDITOR option
  3. Change setting allowAnonymousConnections to false
  4. Scroll down to users setting and create the users you want to connect to your server as described in the official wiki
  5. Start server
