How to add admins to your Day of Defeat Source server

This guide will help you on how to add admins to your Day of Defeat Source server.

First, you need to enable DOD:S console on your steam, go to your Steam, right-click on DOD:S game, select Properties, and type: -console under Launch Properties field, like this example: Click here for Example

1. Stop your server
2. Go to the Mod Manager button and install MetaMod and then SourceMod
3. Go to the Configuration Files button, edit admins_simple.ini and at the end add your admins in the following format:
   • "STEAM_0:1:16" "99:z"
   • You can get the SteamID of the players on this website: https://steamid.io/
   • "99:z" flag will give full admin permissions, you can give individual flag permissions, check the admin_levels.cfg file for all available permission flags.
   • The admins_simple.txt file should look like this: Click here for example
4. Start the server
5. Join the server, press ESC to go to console and type: sm_admin go back to the game and you will see the admin menu.

If for some reason you added/removed admins/flags while server working and you need to reload the admins file, go to Web Console button and type: sm_reloadadmins
