This guide will help you on how to setup and generate procedural maps for your ARK Survival Evolved server hosting.
HOW TO ENABLE AND RUN PROCEDURAL MAPS
- Stop your server
- Go to Configuration Files, edit Config.bat file, change the map to Procedural Map and Save the file
- Start server
HOW TO GENERATE NEW PROCEDURAL MAPS
- Enable Procedural Map first following the instructions above
- Go to Configuration Files and edit Game.ini with Configuration Editor option
- Enable the Procedural Generator in the end of the file
- Change the procedural name to one of your choice, adjust the settings as you like and Save the file
- Start server
Every time you change the procedural name it will generate a new map with the settings you choose, if you want to return to a previously generated map, just change the procedural name to the one you used.
