Terraria Events – The Complete List and How to Summon Them
Introduction to Events in Terraria
In Terraria, events add challenge and excitement! Temporary invasions spawn dangerous enemies and offer sweet rewards. Some events happen randomly, but many you can summon yourself with items or actions. Let’s dive into all the fun events awaiting in your Terraria Server Hosting!
Pre-Hardmode Events
Blood Moon
The Goblin Army can attack randomly or if you break a Shadow Orb. Fight off pesky goblins and their sorcerers for gold and gear
Slime Rain
The Old One's Army, a special Dungeon Defenders 2 crossover event, becomes available after saving the Tavernkeep. Locate the Tavernkeep on any layer after defeating the Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu to trigger this unique crossover experience.
The Torch God
The Torch God mini-event starts when 101 torches cluster underground. These torches shoot fireballs at the player, dealing 40/80/120 damage, extinguishing themselves. The fireballs travel straight through blocks and can also spawn from off-screen torches.
Hardmode Events
Frost Legion
Summon the Frost Legion with a Snow Globe. Face down vicious snowmen and their icy ilk for a shot at the North Pole weapon and other chilly gear.
Solar Eclipse
The Solar Eclipse has a small chance each day of turning your world dark. Dangerous enemies like vampires, swamp things, and frankensteins attack! Defeat them for rare drops like the Broken Hero Sword and Eye Spring
Pirate Invasion
The Pirate Invasion can happen randomly or by using a Pirate Map in the Ocean. Blast through pirate captains, crew, and parrots for pirate gear, gold, and a chance at the lucky Coin Gun
Pumpkin Moon
The Pumpkin Moon is summoned using the Pumpkin Moon Medallion at night in the Pumpkin Patch. Fight scary pumpkin creatures for spooky loot like the Horseman’s Blade and Spooky armour
Frost Moon
The Frost Moon, a Christmas-themed event, mirrors the wave system of the Pumpkin Moon but adds five "bonus waves" after the "Final Wave," bringing the total to 20.
Martian Madness
Martian Madness, a post-Golem event with an alien invasion theme, starts by encountering a Martian Probe in the outer world. To trigger it, players need to move into its light, and once detected, the probe must leave the screen without being destroyed.
Lunar Events
The Lunar Events present a unique scenario with four Celestial Pillars evenly scattered worldwide. Each pillar's proximity spawns enemies that align with their respective themes.
Events in Terraria add challenge and rewards. Summon invasions with items or actions, and fight off special enemies for rare gear and loot. With so many events to experience, the fun never stops in Terraria!
